Gather your friends, family and co-workers  and join us on Labor Day at Lineberger Park for our Eighth Annual Labor Day 5K and One Mile Fun Run. The race starts at 8:00am, and the One Mile Fun Run starts at 8:45am. The fun run is not timed. The awards and survivor recognition ceremony will follow.   

Not only is this a fundraiser, but a tremendous community cancer awareness event!  Our 2009 LD5K had over 400 runners/walkers and raised more than $11,600 for Gaston County residents living with cancer.

My participation in said event is purely voluntary, and I have determined that I am medically able and properly trained to participate.
