Our annual Topless Cruise: Convertibles for a Cause was a huge success this year! Show car owners from classic to modern took their tops down to honor cancer survivors and raise awareness about breast cancer detection through mammograms.

Here they are exiting Stowe Manor getting ready to cruise downtown Belmont.

Thanks to everyone who donated and participated in the Topless Cruise this morning. What a great day!

Raising Money and Awareness

The event raised over $7,000 for Cancer Services of Gaston County. Event organizer, Denise Price Thomas, said she started the fundraiser eight years ago, and it has grown each year since that time.

Nashville recording artist, Tiffany Ashton, served as the Grand Marshall of the Topless Cruise. She even debuted a brand new song written especially for the event. “Warrior” was released on the same day and tells the story of a strong female overcoming immense obstacles.

Belmont Mayor Charlie Martin was also on hand with a proclamation. He declared the 26th of October, 2019 to be Tiffany Ashton Day and presented her with a key to the city.

Thanks so much to all the sponsors, participants and fans who cheered us on the streets of Belmont. Can’t wait to see you all at next year’s Topless Cruise!
