Cancer Services of Gaston County COVID-19 Coronavirus Emergency Plan

March 16, 2020 through April 30, 2020

Our office is closed to the public, but Cancer Services is still providing assistance during the COVID-19 crisis. Read on to learn how you can get help while minimizing exposure.

As a temporary measure to ensure the safety of Cancer Services clients, volunteers, and staff, the CS office will not be open to the public, including volunteers, effective immediately.

The need is great for services including liquid nutrition and supplies, so we WILL be accepting assistance requests from 9 AM until 2 PM Monday through Thursday with a change in how we fulfill the requests.

  1. We will accept assistance requests over the phone, by email, and by fax. Once we receive a request, we will fill the request based on availability and place the order on a table outside our front door with an assigned number printed on the order. We will limit face to face interactions, while serving our community in need.
  2. Mastectomy bra fittings and wig fittings are suspended.
  3. Support programs and Bingo are suspended.

We will update our Facebook page and website, and will work with other organizations to publicize, so that the community is aware that assistance is still available.

We will gladly accept financial gifts. We request a hold on delivery of supply donations during the two-week period.
