10th annual memorial fitness event to honor the late Rev. Henry A. Justice, United Methodist Minister. This is a Health Fair and Fitness event sponsored by the Health Cabinet at Myers Memorial UMC to raise money for Cancer Services of Gaston County. All proceeds benefit Cancer Services of Gaston County, who provides support to patients and families LOCALLY that have been affected by cancer.
Thank you to Dr. Allison Evanoff and Myers Memorial United Methodist Church for hosting our 9th Annual Walk for Wellness that raised over $9,000!

We are seeking health education booths to be present at the event. If you have a health or wellness ‘service’ to provide (cancer screenings, pet health, health supplements, massage, physical therapy, primary or cancer related health care, etc) that you would like to promote and educate participants, we’d love to have you join us! There is much to be gained by participating in this educational community event. For planning purposes, we ask that you complete the google form link provided below.

Sponsorship Levels/Incentives
Gold Sponsor ($500)
- Provide financial support of the event, logo on all digital and printed materials, booth at the event
- (deadline for payment and logo receipt: August 18)
Patrons ($250)
- Name on all promotional materials, plus booth
- (deadline for payment September 18)
Craft vendors ($25):
- Come display and sell your craft. We ask for a voluntary donation of $25 or a product to raffle at the event.

Health promoters/organizations (FREE)
- come and display/promote your wellness product and information
- (deadline to sign up October 11)
Walkers and Participants (FREE)
- Free for the public to take advantage of the festivities! Ask your neighbors, your church family, your coworkers to join the fun, have a great walk and check out the groups offering their services.
